The Professional Learning Specialist is responsible for providing support to the Presenter Manager and Learning group in managing the Learning Without Tears (LWT) National Presenters and Assistants as well as other group initiatives to ensure all professional learning is top-quality, relevant, practically oriented, and serve the educational needs and market trends of key audiences.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Serve as the lead resource to other LWT staff on National Presenters' and Assistants' activities and schedules.

  • Collaborate with Workshop Operations to create schedules for the National Presenters and Assistants. Maintain knowledge and serve as a resource for National Presenters' and Assistants' schedules.

  • Collaborate with the Learning Group to develop and implement procedures and controls as needed, to promote communication, collaboration, and adequate information flow between groups.

  • Assist in articulating overall Professional Learning and Workshop goals to National Presenters and Assistants and provide support to ensure goals are accomplished.

  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams in confirming Subject Matter Experts (SME) for customer pre-sales, expansions, and retention conversations.

  • In collaboration with Professional Learning leaders, plan and organize team virtual and in-person gatherings.

  • Ensure that National Presenters and Assistants have all the necessary material, information, marketing materials, technology, and presenter kit prior to professional learning.

  • In collaboration with the Presenter Manager, assist in onboarding and providing initial and on-going learning experiences for new national presenters & Assistants through necessary lessons, observations and co-presentations, materials, and scripts.

  • Hire, train, motivate, evaluate, and supervise Workshop & Presenter Assistants (Assistants) to ensure employees receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established objectives.

  • Update onboarding and learning materials to align with adapted learning process.

  • Communicate workshop changes to Presenters in scripts, files, and other means necessary to ensure implementation.

  • Generate reports and download workshop data for Professional Learning Group.

  • Collaborate with Payroll on completing the monthly job code tracking report of the National Presenters.

  • Partnering with the Internal Learning Manager in maintaining and organizing learning content.

Your Experience & Qualifications:

  • B.A. or B.S. in Business, Education, or related field (or equivalent work experience) required.

  • 4+ years related experience in administration, operations, education, or related field.

  • Practical experience with LWT materials and curriculum preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once while completing quality work on a timely basis.

  • Comfort working with sensitive & confidential information; excellent ethics and judgment.

  • Ability to work both independently and successfully collaborate with team members and across functions.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service to a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Intermediate proficiency experience in MS Office.

  • Experience and comfort in using and learning new technologies to support virtual work and professional learning.

  • Strong service orientation.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to lift approximately 40 lbs.

  • Ability to travel approximately 2 - 5 trips per year, typically 2-3 day each.

  • Expected to effectively work primarily remote, with in-office days in Omaha, approximately twice per month, or as needed.
