Fox Rothschild LLP is a nationwide law firm with offices in 27 locations. As a member of the Talent Management Department, the Professional Development Training Coordinator will assist with the development and delivery of training programs to support the professional growth of the firm's lawyers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Collaborate with the Training Manager to develop firm-wide training curriculum and implement training programs.

  • Oversee the Continuing Learning Education (CLE) eligibility for training programs by ensuring that all necessary applications have been filed and all required regulations are met.

  • Responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of training offerings. Including coordinating with presenters, scheduling conference space, manage invitations and attendance.

  • Work with training Partners in various departments to assist in the development of practice related curricula.

  • Partner with the Training Manager in the selection of external faculty, assist in the customization of the programs, and build relationships with external faculty.

  • Aid internal subject matter experts in the development of training content and materials.

  • Research and recommend technology solutions to enhance the training functions. Keep abreast on new and innovative ways to deliver training.

  • Collaborate with the Training Manager to evaluate the effectiveness of the current training programs and leverage the information to improve training and outcomes.

  • Participate in the creation of promotional materials that highlight the CLE subscription services and in-house CLE programs.

  • Act as the primary back up for the CLE Training Manager.

  • Participate in the onboarding and integration of new attorneys.

  • Assist with the annual budget preparation and tracking for training programs.

  • Contribute to the planning and executing attorney retreats and morale building events.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Complete various short-term and long-term projects, as assigned.

  • Assist with other related administrative duties, as assigned.

  • Oversee the workflow of the Professional Development Assistant(s).

QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree is required. Studies in human resources, organizational development and/or training preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of three years of experience, preferably in a law firm or other professional services firm.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Possess experience in professional development, training and development, instructional design, or adult learning approaches.

  • Knowledge of Continuing Legal Education is desirable.

  • Experience working in a professional environment and interfacing with significantly senior colleagues is required.

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal relations skills; strong internal client focus.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

  • Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Light work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 20 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work

Duties & Responsibilities * Analyze client source content, target audience demographics, job tasks, and learner environment to identify objectives and appropriate instructional strategies * Make training recommendations consistent with established development time frames and budget * Analyze input from subject matter experts to create and modify instructional materials * Design, develop and publish e-learning to communicate instructional strategies to internal clients, with the goal to improve performance * Use a broad range of interactive, creative and engaging instructional methods * Design and develop learning materials -- e-learning modules, facilitator and participant guides, presentations, simulations, scenarios, quizzes, job aids, and audio/video scripts * Perform quality assurance of final materials to ensure concepts are properly developed and delivered * Respond to help tickets regarding associate training issues * Manage course production, distribution and organization in the company LMS * Use training database to keep track of courses and communicate training requirements to internal reporting structure * Provide clients with support materials to guide rollout of training programs * Perform other duties as assigned to support talent development initiatives Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Bachelor degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Instructional Technology is required; Master degree or equivalent experience is preferred * 3+ years of experience producing high-quality instructional materials in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment is required * 3+ years of experience with e-learning design, interface design, and instructional product development is required * Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is required * Experience with ADP is a plus * Experience publishing e-learning to SCORM standards * Experience with HTML5 * Skilled with the use of web-based e-learning development tools, specifically Articulate * Preferred experience with Photoshop or other image-editing tools * Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access * High level of organization to keep track of multiple tasks in different stages of completion * Knowledge of automotive technical and sales skills is a plus * Proficiency with Spanish language is a plus Physical Demands/Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
