Description

Designs, implements and evaluates clinical/non-clinical orientation programs and continuous learning opportunities for all classifications of caregivers in assigned unit/division in partnership with unit leadership team. Utilizes a data driven approach to conduct house wide and unit-specific required training to close performance gaps.

Maintains visibility for just in time learning facilitation in clinical areas. Adheres to ANA Scope and Standards of practice for Nursing Professional Development.

Qualifications

Requirements:
Minimum required: At least 5 years in clinical specialty

Education: Minimum required:

BSN Preferred: Masters Degree in Nursing or Education. Will consider candidates currently enrolled in Master's program.

Licensure: Minimum required: Registered Nurse ,CERTBLS Preferred: Nursing Professional Development Certification (NPD-BC)

Description A clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care to the acutely ill patient through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. Effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members, while maintaining ANA standards of professional nursing practice. Also responsible for phone triage, abnormal test result delivery and corresponding care instructions. AA/EOE Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: - Current experience (within past five years) or new nursing graduate (within past two years) - Preferred one year's experience as a RN in a Physician Practice, Previous experience working in ENT or Allergy preferred - Second language proficiency a plus Required Education: - Graduate of accredited 2 or 3 year nursing program - BSN strongly preferred upon hire Licensure/Certifications: - State of Illinois RN License - BLS certification Northwestern Medicine Winfield IL
