Under general supervision, facilitates learning opportunities for a variety of clinical programs and target audiences. Leads and maintains clinical/nursing programs and courses. Continually assesses audience learning needs and evaluates impact of learning outcomes. Works in conjunction with Instructional Design team in the assessment and development of new learning solutions, sometimes as the subject matter expert.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1 Coordinates the education process (clinical and non-clinical) for a defined target audience of System staff including assessing educational needs, planning, developing and delivering appropriate education and training, and evaluating education outcomes. May act as subject matter expert for the development of new learning solutions for targeted audiences.
2 Functions as an educational consultant to departments, service lines or entities for System-wide or entity-wide initiatives requiring education and training.
3 Contributes to the enhancement of organizational, team and individual performance through the appropriate and measurable evaluation of education interventions.
4 Facilitates the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of System-wide education programs.
5 Provides consultation services throughout the System regarding education/training.
6 Contributes to the development and maintenance of competencies for positions within the System.
7 Attends appropriate external education programs to evaluate courses for presentation within the System.
Bachelor's Degree is required
Master's Degree is preferred
5-8 years experience is preferred
