  • Lead instructional design process with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop high-quality programming.

  • Conduct needs analysis to ensure program content aligns with NACE research and content areas.

  • Evaluate program performance to drive program improvement and member satisfaction

  • Provide high-touch customer service and support for collaborative partners.

  • Lead SME reviews and debriefs and report outcomes.

  • Construct webcopy, confirmation, and program detail.

  • Collaborate with Director of Professional Development to expand and develop program offerings.

  • Serve as the primary staff liaison for logistical execution of all public professional development programming.

  • Independently execute professional development programming and events.

Qualifications Include:

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time is required.

  • Strong collaborative skillset with strong desire to work within a dynamic team.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Education, with a focus on curriculum and instruction, higher education, and technology is required. A Master's degree in Education is preferred.

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience with instructional design with a focus on adult learning.

  • CMP or BCC credentialing is preferred.

  • Expertise in technology platforms, specifically Zoom, Moviemaker, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • The ability to manage multiple projects with a keen eye for detail.

  • Prior experience as a volunteer or employee in an association or membership driven organization is a plus.

For more information, visit and RESPONSIBILITIES: * Has responsibility for conducting full category management reviews, analyzing business issues, providing business insights and recommendations in the areas of assortment, pricing, promotion and shelf presentation to drive business results. The (Senior) Category Development Analyst will develop appropriate recommendations and actionable plans for the retailer to execute against in the process of category development. For example, the (Senior) Category Development Analyst may perform assortment analysis, identifying distribution gaps for the retailer and appropriate actions to close said gaps. The findings and plan of actions are then presented independently, or with a Category Development Analyst Team Leader at category review meetings. For proprietary skus, they would contact Sales, Acosta broker partners and the Retailer to get distribution voids filled. * Provides periodic and ad-hoc reporting based on issues discovered in the periodic reports that dig deep into markets and products issues with solid recommendations. Monthly delivery of actionable (actionable=answer the so what + action) tracking reports to include but not limited to: * new items and their volume transfer * market share * modular tests & new strategies * Pricing * ROM performance * Is responsible for all aspects of the planogram development process, (major and mini updates) with database maintenance (store, product, image), merchandising analysis and reporting, planogram adjustment and creation, and buyer communication. For example, the Team Leader or Category Development Analyst may provide core planograms to the Senior Category Development Analyst to then execute the necessary item cut downs respective to set size or fixtures. * Is responsible for competitive and marketplace intelligence, analysis and reporting. This would include share gap reporting, price gap reporting, and market visits that determine competitive retailer strategies and tactics. For example, the (Senior) Category Development Analyst will analyze market gap opportunities for the partner retailer. The incumbent would execute a POS and Panel analysis to understand the performance dynamics, and may perform a market visit to understand specific tactics and that support the share advantage. * Works with and supports category management leaders to assess available resources strategic resources from a consumer insight perspective, document voids, create action plans to fill voids where possible, filter them, condense & format them into category defining guidance.
