Responsible for the overall

delivery process of a software application or service, including design,

development, testing, deployment, production application support (e.g.,

troubleshooting) and maintenance with a focus on automation. Collaborate to

gather and review software requirements/user stories. Provide estimates. Create

software design specifications and collaborate with engineers/architects to

assess and test hardware and software interactions. Execute a specific

development methodology through application of various programming languages.

Create and execute automated test plans/strategies utilizing business

requirements. Collaborate with engineers/architects, clients, etc. to validate

test environments, test data and test results. Design and implement code fixes.

Validate outcomes against expected results and product associate reporting.

Interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing and/or user

acceptance testing. Support applications and solve configuration and

environment issues. Support the software deployment process. Implement unit and

integration testing. Design and develop file retrieval components using web

services SOAP and WSDL. Design specification for the user interfaces and

business logic layers. Utilize J2EE, Java, Cassandra, JAXB, XML, Springs,

Struts, Hibernates , 3rd party cloud (Azure/AWS/OpenStack) and APM (Application

PerformanceManagement)product development . Develop reusable

business components using JSP, Servlets, Ajax, EJB, Web Services Pack, Spring,

JSF and Hibernate 3.x. Design and develop user interfaces for Internet/Intranet

applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout

development life cycle. Determine design methodologies and tool sets. Complete

programming using languages and software products. Design and conduct tests.

Work on development of Hibernate, including mapping files, configuration file

and classes to interact with the database. Use XML/XSL and Parsing using both

SAX and DOM parsers. Implement JSF data table, data scroller components to

display search results and implement the page navigation functionality in all

the search screens. Explore with the Spark improving the performance and

optimization of the existing algorithms in Hadoop using Spark Context,

Spark-SQL, Data Frame, Pair RDD's, Spark YARN. Migrate Web Services and API to

Azure functions. Implement Azure Active Directory (AD) for authentication.

Manage Apache and DSE Cassandra clusters in multi-center environment. Provide

proactive monitoring and tuning for Cassandra and JVM.

Requires a Bachelor's Degree, or

foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and three

(3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience

implementing unit and integration testing; designing and developing file

retrieval components using web services SOAP and WSDL; designing specification

for the user interfaces and business logic layers; utilizing J2EE, Java,

Cassandra, JAXB, XML, Springs, Struts and Hibernate.

Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Responsibilities Job Essential Functions * Reconciles individual batch totals and daily posting totals. * Creates insurance and self pay refund packets as appropriate. * Correctly applies all denial and deductibles by internal coding daily. * Posts denials, zero pays and correspondence by internal coding on a daily basis. * Process credit card payments and post charge backs. * Ensures that QA/productivity score is at 98% overall. * Research and resolve unmatched EFT report. * Research and clear unapplied accounts. * Completes and distributes daily cash reports * Reconciles cash posting to deposit log. * Post refunds, write offs, payments and contractual adjustments. * Correctly applies patient share, and completes balance transfers as appropriate * Posts Misc Cash to correct accounts timely and documents all identifying information on all misc. or unapplied cash postings to ensure timely resolution and correct application. * Resolves all deposit reconciling items through the prior month within 5 business days post month end close. Resolves all reconciling items within one week of deposits, escalates appropriately to ensure this deadline is met and when barriers are encounter. * Resolves all unapplied accounts within ten days of deposit and ten days post close of the prior month. * Obtains approval prior to posting and accurately posts all zero pay remits in which payments are applied to an over pay * Escalates any and all issues preventing cash from being posted timely. Ensures these issues are resolved prior to month end. * Works with others as a team player, as well as the hospital/clinic staff. Customer Service * Maintains the highest level of customer service via courtesy, compassion and positive communication. * Promotes the Mission and Vision of Post Acute Medical within the work environment and the community. * Respects dignity and confidentiality by adherence to all applicable policies and procedures. Qualifications Education and Training: * High School diploma or equivalent required. Experience: * Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook. * Good interpersonal skills. * Ability to provide positive customer service. * Ability to maintain independent work schedule. * Ability to work collaboratively with team members. * Ability to be organized with attention to detail. * Good math, analytical and problem solving skills. * Data entry and 10-key by touch. * 2-3 years of related experience in cash posting and reconciliation, EOB analysis, balance transfers, posting refunds, misc. cash, write offs and contractual adjustments. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Overall knowledge of business procedures. * General knowledge of third payers, and billing procedures and guidelines. * Experience with automated patient accounting systems and automated billing and collection system. * Type 50 wpm. * Operate personal computer, 10-key. * Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
