Summary of Job Duties:

• Provide information to current and perspective students regarding class selection, degree requirements, and transfer requirements, advise students in various disciplines

• Work with students in the development of educational goals and the implementation of plans to meet those goals

• Maintain files on advisees to include contracts, graduation checklists, and assessment results

• Assist with student success initiatives when needed

• Coordinates accommodations for Special Needs student populations

• Continue to serve on various campus and college committees

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required, preferred in education field. Ability to work well with students from different backgrounds, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work well independently and in a team setting.

Good research skills. Master's degree preferred.
