Additional Responsibilities:

As a Segment Technology Director in Products & Technology you will be:

  • A critical thinker, ideating outside of the box & helping strategically shape big ideas;

  • Financially astute, building out investment strategies & business cases;

  • A strategist, with frameworks and capabilities to conduct market scans;

  • A facilitator, mentoring our segment tech teams & championing a new way of thinking; and,

  • Leading a team and managing senior level relationships

In lieu of a Bachelor Degree, 12 years of professional experience involving technology-focused process improvements, transformations, and/or system implementations.

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts identifying and addressing client needs: executing various aspects of client engagements and/or projects within a professional services environment, and with technology strategy approaches including knowledge in the following areas:

  • Developing a trusted advisor relationship with customer executive sponsors, and internal stakeholders so all activities are closely aligned with the customer's business case and business strategy;

  • Developing technology strategy at a tech startup/consulting firm/client engagement;

  • Demonstrating passion about all things technology;

  • Being an expert in storytelling, communicating concepts and ideas to stakeholders at all levels;

  • Possessing experience with financial modelling and investment strategy;

  • Understanding of emerging technology and market scan capabilities;

  • Possessing proven presentation skills;

  • Defining and driving overall technology experience, vision, strategy;

  • Managing senior level relationships with product and business stakeholders;

  • Understanding of user experience practices; and,

  • Writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently to client executives, business, and technology personnel.

Accountable for the end to end development and management of Group Medicare Advantage product development strategy. Key job responsibilities include: * Framing of annual operating plan and multi-year Group Medicare Advantage product development strategy * Developing, prioritizing and managing product portfolio options supporting Group Retiree Sales organization * Leading ongoing group retiree market and competitive analysis to aid strategic decision making and development of key messaging/positioning * Building alignment with (and in support of) Group segment specific business strategies, including cross-selling initiatives and industry verticals * Influencing industry activity/trends and regulation through active participation on external industry groups/boards Required Qualifications * 5+ years experience in health plan industry, with fundamental understanding of commercial sales cycle. * Demonstrated success with process improvement and project management initiatives. * Effective communication/influencing skills applied to broad internal/external audience. * Demonstrated understanding of technology and how it can be applied to solve business problems/provide technical solutions.
