The Carrollton, Texas, facility produces and distributes waterborne (latex) paints for home improvement and paint retailers nationwide. Products include Glidden, Glidden Professional, Sikkens, Flood and Devoe Paint. The plant began operations in 1960.

  • Receives and manages raw materials for product processing and packaging. Conducts inventory checks and communicates information critical to packaging inventory management.

  • Performs material movements using an SAP production management and warehouse management system.

  • Executes production, raw material and finished goods instructions with a high attention to detail.

  • Operates manufacturing process control equipment associated with raw material charging operations, fill line packaging and filling equipment, and information system databases.

  • Performs routine quality inspections to ensure all manufacturing steps are performed in acceptable manner.

  • Complete regular inspection of equipment, maintain clean and neat work area and assist others as needed.

  • Adheres to safety policies/procedures at all times.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and 80 pounds on an occasional basis.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and move over, under, and around forklift, pallet jack, and racking equipment.

  • Ability to use computers and warehouse management systems (SAP preferred) to manage, complete and resolve errors as needed.

  • Experience operating industrial powered equipment and packaging fill line equipment associated with the palletizing of finished goods products.

  • Experience operating reach trucks, sit down lift trucks and pallet moving equipment.
