This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening on the posted shift. Applicants will be considered for openings in any department that may include, but are not limited to dry sausage hanging, toppings packaging, slicing packaging, retail packaging, Jobs are fast pace and require repetitive motion.
Positions require working with beef chicken and pork. Some positions require lifting and pulling up to 50 pounds. All work is performed in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 38 to 42 degrees and require standing 8 up to 12 hours per day.
Applicants must be willing to wear all proper safety equipment and must be willing to work overtime and weekends if required. If the applicant is not contacted in the month that they applied, they will need to reapply again in the next month to be considered.
Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required. These positions work in a cold, damp to hot and humid environment.
