Your Key Responsibilities

• Realizes development, implementation and optimization of production technology for production of new and existing Schaeffler products.

• Develop, validate and implement production technologies.

• Improve production technologies in terms of quality, cost and robustness.

• Initiate and coordinate development of production machines and tools.

• Supports/enable production department to realize production (hand-over, training and troubleshooting)

• Validate machines and tools.

• Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing and indirect areas.

• Support/enable production or production departments to realize production (hand-over, training, trouble-shooting).

• Train and guide engineering team in technology and best practices for metal forming and processing applications

Your Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or Technical Degree with equivalent experience in manufacturing

• Minimum 5 to 10 years in metal forming experience

• Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting production machinery (forming, grinding, heat treatment, automated assembly, induction)

• Advanced knowledge of metal forming simulation and tool optimization process for deep drawing stamping, piercing, forging or machining operations

• Prefer international/regional training/experience from Schaeffler locations

• Prefer six sigma green belt certification or desire to obtain

• Ability to use critical thinking to solve complex machine and tooling challenges
