Role and Responsibilities
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Performs daily shift startup checks on all operating production lines.
Responsible for verifying and documenting calibration status, machine settings etc.
Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
Responsible to evaluate, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment malfunctions.
Responsible for proper storage, control, and identification of tooling and sub-equipment
Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance for all assembly equipment.
Support Quality, Engineering and Production Testing
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Support production needs.
Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
Maintains validated state of tools, fixtures, label printers, CIJ and TTO coders and assembly/packaging/filling equipment.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Capable of reading blueprints pertaining to Assembly.
Responsible to train peers on technical repairs and Set Up Production equipment.
Provide guidance and support to junior team members including assemblers.
Effectively communicates with Leads, Supervisors, outside vendors, and contractors.
Active engagement in continuous improvement projects.
Responsible to train new production technicians.
Must follow all lock out/ tag out procedures.
Suggests process and safety improvement ideas.
Follow all company safety guidelines and process.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
4-6 years' experience in a fast-paced manufacturing work environment with 2-4 years technical experience in a clean room environment.
Technical or Vocational training preferred.
Analytical Trouble Shooting.
Ability to read technical drawings/prints.
Strong mechanical/technical aptitude.
Computer skills as required by stated accountabilities.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Provide overtime coverage for alternate shifts or weekends as required
