The Compound Semiconductor business in the DuPont Electronic & Imaging Division has 4 Production Technician openings at our Auburn Michigan facility.
THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
As Production Technician, you will perform various operations necessary for the production of silicon carbide wafers in a safe and reliable manner while also meeting production schedules. This position requires high attention to detail and operational discipline as required by the high standards of the electronics industry.
The available shifts for this position are:
8-hour 5-2 M-F day shift,
12-hour 3-2-2 day shift,
Two 3-2-2 rotating day and night shifts.
Your key responsibilities:
Monitor & operate process equipment insuring quality and conformance to standard operating procedures
Interaction with computer controlled Process equipment
Interaction with computer controlled Metrology equipment
Handling and loading raw materials
Troubleshooting processes, tools and equipment
Routine equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.

Your qualification profile:
The following skill sets are required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Silicon Carbide or Silicon manufacturing experience
Electronics industry manufacturing experience
Willing and able to work a 12 hour rotating shift
Willing and able to work overtime, including holidays, weekends, and on short notice call in as required
Knowledge and experience with computer systems
Ability to work independently & as a team
Since the technology is Export Controlled, you must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
The following skill sets are preferred by the site:
Experience with clean room protocols
Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing processes & 5S organizational practices
Experience with production recording software such as SAP
Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution System) or other equivalent Manufacturing Operations software
