Production Technician

CorDx is at the cutting edge of technology, artificial intelligence, and data science with the goal of delivering diagnostic solutions to some of the most critical questions in healthcare.  Position Summary: CorDx is currently looking for a highly motivated Production Technician to join our R&D scientific team as a non exempt key member in developing IVD point-of-care immunoassays for rapid detection of infectious pathogens. The position is a technical role reporting to the team’s lead scientist and R&D manager.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Calculate and prepare reagents and use basic lab instruments
• Colloidal gold production
• Supporting crucial lab functions such as organization, inventory, equipment QC, and preparation of buffers and reagents.
• Assisting with other tasks as necessary.

Required Skills:

• More than 1 year of laboratory work experience and able to use basic lab equipment
• Experience with colloidal gold heavily preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to design and experimental changes.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in laboratory setting
