GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Maintain the production rooms, equipment, warehouse and building grounds in a clean organized mannerESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Comply with FDA, GMP, OSHA and HACCP guidelines.

  • Ability to recognize and correct quality issues

  • Ensure all safety precautions are taken prior to operating machines

  • Mix cleaning chemicals to predetermined ratios

  • Use test kits to check effectiveness of cleaning

  • Sanitize production equipment per cleaning instructions

  • Operate/drive a floor scrubber

  • Perform inspections on scrubber, scissor-lift and forklift; report problems to Supervisor

  • Operate floor buffer/stripper to maintain floor finish

  • Stock and maintain disposable inventories and report needs to Supervisor

  • Perform routine, preventative maintenance tasks as assigned

  • Weigh, document and dispose of dust collection waste

  • Assist in changeovers as directed

  • Assist in unloading inbound stock, complete corresponding documentation

  • Assist in setup/cleanup of company events

  • Perform other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Pay: 13.00/hour

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations and to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Forklift certification for warehouse position

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Self motivator and ability to work with little supervision

  • Ability to work well in a team

  • Ability to identify and distinguish colors

  • Lift raw product and dump in hoppers

  • Pull skids out of rooms

  • Must obtain forklift certification

  • Must pass background check

  • Must pass drug screening test

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital's Day Institute Program offers a specialized, outpatient rehabilitation program in a flexible full-day format for individuals who can benefit from a comprehensive approach to recovery, but don't necessarily need rehabilitation in the acute hospital setting. Under the direction of a therapist, the Rehab Aide assists patients in the rehabilitation process through provision of requested activities. Prepares and maintains equipment and physical plant for daily activities. Under the direction of the Program Manager, drives the company vehicles making pick-ups and deliveries between facilities, and assisting the Administration team with daily operations. Responsibilities Rehab Aide performs patient related tasks assigned by therapist, including but not limited to: * Lifts patients to/from mats, treatment and tilt tables, wheelchairs and other equipment appropriate to the facility/department. * Assists patients with transfer activities to all surfaces. * Assists patients in donning/doffing all appliances specific to the facility/department. * Positions patients in parallel bars and prepares patients for standing with appropriate orthotic/prosthetic devices and equipment. * Transports patients to/from therapy as needed. * Assists therapist with other patient related treatment activities as appropriate and providing equipment. * Assist with patient related activities including equipment set-up and patient positioning in preparation for therapy session as outlined in the State Practice Act. * Maintains the department and department equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Driver Responsibilities: * Drives the company vehicles in a safe manner according to the written schedule. * Maintains company vehicles in a clean condition, interior and exterior at all times. * Coordinates vehicle maintenance schedule, reports problems with vehicles to supervisor. * Assist with the transport of furniture and supplies between facilities. * Transports patients from patient homes to designated facility for appointments. * Delivers interoffice mail to the appropriate facility at designated times. * Must be computer proficient. * Must be able to utilize the computer to search for directions and location information. * Must be able to utilize GPS. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent required. Direct patient care experience required. Current State Driver's License in good standing required: Acquisition of a Class B license allowing for the operation of a bus is required within three months of employment.
