Production Support III - Saws, 1St Shift (Gac)

JOB SUMMARYResponsible for the operation of multiple saws to cut piece parts of various sizes and lengths.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOperates saws according to the following process:Inspect and set up saws manually or using small hand toolsInspect and change saw blades as necessaryPlace steel bars on saws using hoists and lift trucksSet dials, switches and programs to begin processMonitor machine and make preparations for next jobRemove part from saw when done and inspect for accuracyRepeat above steps until job is finishedOther duties as assigned by supervisorQUALIFICATIONSMust have mechanical and technical abilities and experience. Must be willing to freely move amongst all saws as workload demands. Must be at least 18 years old and be able to drive hoists and lift trucks.Should have the ability to set up multiple styles of saws.
