Production Support Analyst, Reference Data RTB

What will you be doing?
On behalf of a global financial services organization, analyze, test, maintain, enhance, and monitor computer systems to provide front line support to business and downstream IT teams to ensure continued availability, effectiveness, and accuracy of production systems.
Attend to incident management process, including priority assessment, incident resolution and escalation, problem identification, and root cause analysis.
Deliver second and third level support services across suite of essential applications.
Contribute to performance management, initiative monitoring, infrastructure upgrades, application onboarding, and automation projects.
Investigate solutions to improve system and service quality and increase business value by partaking in continuous services improvement process.
Research Reference Data IT systems and participate in audit review processes with internal and external auditors.
Participate in change management activities, including change review/sign-off and production deployment.
Perform business continuity activities including disaster recovery and work area recovery testing.
Utilize Unix to access log files and executable code.
Leverage knowledge of SQL and Autosys to provide extracts to stakeholders and determine successes and failures of batch processes.
Utilize Perl, Shell, and Unix scripting to develop tasks and reports.
Utilize Eclipse, Putty, JIRA, Confluence, Autosys, and Citrix to carry out responsibilities.
What we're looking for:
Requires Minimum of Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field and at least three (3) years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Production Support Analyst, Production Support Lead, Technology Analyst, System Engineer, Developer, or related occupation.
Must have at least one (1) year of employment experience with each of the following required skills: Unix to access log files and executable code; SQL and Oracle to provide extracts and analyze batch processes; Autosys to determine status of batch processing; Perl, Shell, and Unix scripting to perform root cause analysis; Agile methodology to perform enhancement, automation, performance management, infrastructure upgrades, and add new functionalities; Performing code fixes and maintenance; Incident Management; IT tools including Eclipse, Putty, JIRA, Confluence, and Citrix.
