Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor supervises all shift employees and complies with all safety, quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Supervises all personnel and operations on the shift. Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
• Reports any process and equipment problems.
• Calls the Maintenance Supervisor on evenings and weekends for assistance with problems.
• Organizes work for smooth operations.
• Ensures that established policies, rules and regulations, and procedures are followed.
• Verifies correct identification, weights, and warehousing of products.
• Distributes plant status reports to the next-shift Supervisor and Department Manager.
• Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping of the area and meeting production quality and quantity standards on the shift.
• Completes production reporting.
• Troubleshoots problems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience with manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5-10 years Industrial Supervision
