The Production Supervisor will be responsible for the smooth running of all production lines with slitter machines, ovens, and stamping and the quality of each of their output. This includes supervising a staff of employees and oversight of order fulfillment and shipping operations. We are seeking candidates with a know-how in production procedures and the leadership ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance. This position will report into the Operations Manager.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor production operations to meet safety, quality, cost, volume, and timeliness criteria.
Implement and control the production schedule.
Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.).
Train and develop team members to take ownership of their responsibilities and processes.
Drive towards continuous improvement, maximize efficiency and optimize costs.
Assist in managing maintenance and improvements of warehouse space.
Position Requirements
5+ years in Steel Operations background.
3+ years' experience in fast-paced production operations and management, order fulfillment, and inventory management.
1+ years' experience as a leader/manager.
Strong knowledge of warehouse, inventory, and shipping operations methods and practices.
Excellent communication skills, fluent in both English and Spanish is preferable.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Inventory software.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritize, and delegate.
Strict attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Responsible, ethical, honest, positive, upbeat, and approachable.
Work Schedule: 4pm -2am
