Production Supervisor

This supervisor would have experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably some experience with electronics assembly. Description

Under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager, the Production Supervisor team member is responsible for all aspects of daily manufacturing, including SMT, through-hole, conformal coating and box build.

Responsibilities.

• Schedule daily activities for each manufacturing department to meet the company's financial and on-time delivery goals.

• Perform daily personnel tasks such as scheduling employee time off, training and initiating employee disciplinary actions when needed.

• Push quality initiatives throughout manufacturing to increase product quality and customer satisfaction.

• Work with other departments such as test, quality, engineering to achieve manufacturing goals.

• Generate accurate daily shift report as well as monthly metrics.

• Help facilitate the processing of RMAs by scheduling through the various manufacturing departments.

• Help maintain a safe work environment.

• Drive 5S in the factory to improve efficiency.

• Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-5 years manufacturing supervisory experience with one or more companies preferably within the electronics or related industry.

• The candidate should have knowledge of 5S or manufacturing lean practices.

• Must have strong computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office and have experience with ERP software.

• Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

• Must have strong written and oral communications skills in English. Spanish a plus.

• Have the ability, to control many activities in a dynamic environment, simultaneously without sacrificing goals.

• Ability to lift 35 to 40 lbs.

• Perform other duties as needed.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience: 5 - 7 year preferred

Good Computer skills

Good Math skills

Good Communications Skills both written and verbal in English
