Production Supervisor

Job Summary

What's the job?

NOTE: This Role is for the SECOND SHIFT with the Standard Operating Hours from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

• Plan, organize and execute the production of scheduled roofing lines.

• Work with scheduling to adjust production needs which have changed.

• Answer technical questions on how to produce specific products.

• Deal with Human Relations concerns of employees, paying close attention to safety, productivity and morale of the work group.

• Observe and make adjustments to insure safe operating conditions and safe behavior.

• Complete production reports for work completed.

• Complete wage changes to insure employees are paid correctly.

Required Qualifications

What do you bring?

• High school education with two years of college in Business or Production Management

• Five years of work in manufacturing plant with multiple product lines.

• Three years of supervision with crews of at least 10 people.

• 5 years of experience in asphalt roofing manufacturing environment or any other type of industrial manufacturing environments

• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.

• SAP knowledge is preferred.
