Production Supervisor (Day & Night Shifts)

Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the production team to ensure that manufacturing processes are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards. This role involves managing employees, organizing workflows, monitoring production schedules, and maintaining quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

• Supervise, train, and evaluate production workers.
• Assign tasks and manage the workflow to meet production goals.
• Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and productivity.

Production Management:

• Plan and organize production schedules.
• Ensure production targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, and deadlines.
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to maintain efficiency.
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and delays.

Quality Control:

• Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold quality standards.

Safety and Compliance:

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
• Conduct safety training and drills for the production team.

Resource Management:

• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and supplies.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair of equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Recommend and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including output, quality control, and inventory.
• Prepare and present production reports to management.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in manufacturing, operations management, engineering, or related technical field preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Lead or supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety protocols.

Working Conditions:

• Typically work in a manufacturing or production facility.
