Job Duties

To provide food processing services from the Milk Plant to a Major institution in accordance with state, federal and Department of Corrections (DOC) policies and procedures. Process and contribute finished product to other facilities in the region.

Train and supervise inmate labor in the operation of the Milk Plant Processing Plant and auxiliary equipment of an adult institution. Provide a safe and secure work environment. Supervise the preparation and distribution on processing products with the region.

Minimum Qualifications

Thorough working knowledge of a Milk Plant operation and their auxiliary equipment. Ability to supervise others.

Demonstrated ability to operate a motor vehicle and moving/motorized farm equipment. Must use a computer and operate both hand and power tools. Must have good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.

High school graduate or equivalent. Valid Driver's License.

Additional Considerations

Work experience in the overall operation of a food processing plant and auxiliary equipment. Certified Driver's License (CDL).
