The Production Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the activities of the various Manufacturing Departments and employees during a given shift. These activities ensure that order fulfillment and all other department metrics and KPIs are met or exceeded. The Production Supervisor reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager.

Responsible for the direct supervision and training of team members engaged in the packaging of all Finished Products.
Plans for and adheres to the daily packaging schedule to ensure efficiency goals are achieved.
Monitors the activities of Packaging employees to ensure that all employees scheduled are in attendance and manages all required breaks and meal periods.
Verifies that all necessary rooms, equipment and packaging components needed are ready, clean, and in working order prior to the start of the shift. Notifies department manager, supervisor or maintenance department when repairs or adjustments to equipment are needed.
Exhibits thorough knowledge product sku's and their corresponding line setups and packaging standards.
Ensures that all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards for quality, safety and compliance with all appropriate legal and food safety requirements and a focus on continuous improvement.
Observes packaging operation packaging lines and inspects Finished Product to verify conformance to specifications on a regular schedule.
Completes related Quality Assurance paperwork throughout the shift and submits to Manufacturing Manager or designee at the end of each shift, such as manufacturing activity checklists, metal detector, pallet log, & weight verification documentation.
Ensures proper communication during changeovers between shifts.
Ensures compliant Finished Product chain of custody transfer from the Packaging group to the Finished Product storage personnel.
Follows and enforces all company policies & procedures, GMP's, & Quality Standards.
Maintains a high level of safety awareness for an accident-free work place and reports any unsafe or hazardous work conditions or safety-related issues to Management.
Ensure compliance with all Food Safety, cGMP and other regulatory requirements.
Ensures the maintenance of packaging component inventory levels.
Ensures the maintenance of Clean Room hygiene standards.
Performs packaging manual, semi-automatic and automatic activities as required.
Assist Extraction, Mfg, Bakery/Kitchen and Packaging departments within Manufacturing.
Ensuring staff training documentation is completed on a timely basis,
Ensures that all technicians performing manufacturing activities have been properly trained.

This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work is performed primarily in an indoor environment. Exposure to dust, grease, odors, and cleaning agents; work hours include shift work to minimize disruption of daily operational activities.
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability necessary for sufficient mobility to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time. Stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist. Regularly push, pull, lift, and/or carry light to moderately heavy objects and occasionally objects over 50 pounds. Requires a sense of touch, finger dexterity, and gripping with hands and fingers. Ability to operate equipment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Requires a work schedule to ensure all goods are baked for the day. Expected days and hours of work are as follows: Shifts may vary, must be willing to work weekends, Some overtime may be required.
Little or no travel is expected for this position. However, travel is primarily local and during the business day.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or its equivalent required.
One year of supervisory or team lead experience.
A minimum of 3 years of cGMP manufacturing, commercial bakery/kitchen, extraction/distillation/chemical processing or packaging experience.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Good interpersonal, written and oral communications skills.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of diverse individuals within the plant.
Ability to read, interpret, and keep records on a variety documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, formulas, and policy and procedures manuals.
Exceptional math skills the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment.

There is no visa or H1-B sponsorship. Must successfully complete and pass background and drug screen, Live scan, and FBI fingerprint requirements.
