Position Summary

Responsible for monitoring product flow and production schedules to ensure timely delivery of product to the customer and for the quality and efficiency of the shift. This includes making job assignments to production operators, monitoring the shop floor, and administering the overnight shift report. Communication with internal departments.

• Keep the work centers running, ensuring that machines come back up should they shut down

• Develop and maintain a high performing team through continual, consistent coaching on key performance metrics (attendance, quality, production, teamwork)

• Assure that the team adheres to all safety and performance guidelines

• Remain calm and organized under pressure

• Adapt to the ever-changing needs of the work and needs of the team

• Be a self-starter, personable, trustworthy, with high integrity, plenty of team spirit, and an unquestionable passion for results

• Possess excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail

2 to 3 years of supervision a plus!

Role Requirements:

• Some college, trade/vocational education, or apprenticeship and 3-4 years relevant work experience.

• Solid written, verbal, and interpersonal communications

• Computer skills and aptitude, Microsoft Office preferred, with experience in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Proficient lathe and mill experience

Hours and Travel: 12-hour day shift, 6:00am-6:00pm 2/2/3 schedule. Travel for trainings as needed.
