The Production Supervisor plans, coordinates and assigns work to maximize output. Is responsible for effective employee relations, implementing and recommending improvements in production methods, operating procedures and working conditions.
Manage departmental performance measures and priorities and communicates with Plant Manager and department leads to produce desired results.
Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Works to continuously improve in all areas
Ensure effective employee relations; provides employee coaching and development and resolve issues through counseling and problem resolution.
Assist Plant Manager with employment decisions.
Perform accident investigations and completes required reporting requirements.
Track absenteeism and time-keeping.
Is responsible for all other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Three to five years' experience in similar position
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); Minimum 50 wpm required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong and continuous improvement orientation
Previous exposure to employee training and development a plus
Quality orientation and attention to detail.
Problem analysis and resolution.
An ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong team player.
