To help us drive excellence, you'll get to:
Monitors production plans and provides corrective action as necessary.
Communicates staffing needs with supervision.
Educates associates in proper procedures of company policy, safety and quality issues, and production requirements.
Monitor required Quality documentation at each specific operation. Insure all applicable checks on inspection sheets, SPC charts, etc. are being properly completed with any applicable notations/comments.
Conducts weekly department meetings with associates on current issues such as quality, attendance, safety, housekeeping, and production requirements.
This full-time, salary, role is a part of our Operations team and reports to the Superintendent .
Required experience:
Knowledge of SPC (including the use of mics, calipers, etc.)
Knowledge of welding processes
Lean manufacturing experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five years plus related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
