Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the wet out facility.

  • Arrange delivery of product to a variety of locations. Monitor contract drivers delivery schedules.

  • Plan and schedules inbound and outbound shipment to internal or external customers based on needs.

  • Processes incoming orders, works with various Field Engineers/Superintendnets/Project Managers/Logistics Coordinators coordinating tube/equipment availablity and forecasting equipment needs

  • Ensure the safety of all employees and that all employees are following all safety practices implemented. Conduct daily safety training.

  • Ensure that quality requirements are met while working in a safe manner compliant with company employment guidelines. Conduct training and verify compliance of quality processes and procedures.

  • Provide input and approval for changes in work procedures.

  • Ensure proper equipment and materials are in place.

  • Meet demands of the production schedules by ensuring facility is properly staffed and adequate supervision is in place at all times.

  • Complete bill of ladings for all loads and ensure that all vehicles contain proper documentation.

  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and coordinate with wet out administrator to maintain an accurate inventory of materials. Maintain an inventory of spare parts for facility equipment. Manage consumable supplies and tools.

  • Receive all resin, chemicals, liners and materials in computer system.

  • Personally participate and assist in all wet out processes.

  • Assist with overall development and training needs for the wet out personnel to improve skill level, involvement, value, and morale.

  • Ensure all hourly employees follow ITI policies and discipline when deemed necessary.

  • Operate within budget while minimizing cost.

Physical Requirements:

  • Walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, bend, reach, kneel, crawl and stretch

  • Use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; talk and hear without visual cues.

  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing type environment required

  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within our industry preferred

  • Strong verbal and written communciation skills required

  • Ability to perform arithmetic calculations and apply basic statistical, agelbraic, and geometric concepts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volumes etc is required.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • ability to use computer to enter data and do routine calcualtions.

  • Ability to work with spreadsheets, databases and presentation software.

The HR Department is part of the Business Systems Division at MTI and is the supporting department for all employees at MTI This position reports directly to the HR Manager and provides administrative support in various human resources functions including, but not limited to, recruitment, employee on-boarding, and benefits administration. This position is focused primarily on administrative and generalist human resource functions. The HR Supervisor functions as a resource to the Human Resources department and is the front line for providing customer service to employees, future employees, customers and management. The HR Supervisor must have very strong organizational skills, the ability to keep employee information confidential, multi-tasking skills and have strong computer skills. This position is full-time. The hours are flexible between 7am-6pm Monday - Friday. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions * Conducts new hire paperwork and benefits enrollment for new employees * Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains current forms * Conducts audits of benefits or other HR programs and recommends any corrective action * Updates HR spreadsheets and databases with employee change requests and processes paperwork * Assists with processing of termination paperwork * Assists HR Manager with various research projects and/or special projects * Assists with recruitment and interview process * Schedules meetings, interviews, and reference checks as requested by HR Manager * Attend and conduct interviews with production managers * Makes photocopies, faxes documents and performs other clerical functions * Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files * Assists or prepares correspondence * Prepares new employee files * Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: * Computer knowledge in Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint * Comfortable with multiple databases and benefit web portals * General office equipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, computer * Good visual acuity and ability to communicate * Adheres to the company's Standards of Business Conduct * Ability to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively * Ability to handle multiple projects at a time * Approachable demeanor and refined customer service skills * Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner. * Ability to work independently without supervision * Adaptability and ability work under stressful circumstances at times WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 3+ years administrative responsibilities in an office type setting required.
