Production Supervisor

This position involves heading a team in the Analytical, Process Automation Measurement & Analytics (PAMA), ensuring continuous and efficient production operations in line with plans, procedures and quality and safety standards and policies. In this position, you'll oversee a department within the Bartlesville Factory dedicated to producing and delivering natural gas analyzers. Your focus will be on upholding company policies, guidelines and procedures while prioritizing employee safety.

Your responsibilities
Foster a team culture where safety, procedures and policies are followed
Effectively communicate status of activities and performance for the team within scope of responsibility
Be representative of management that portrays a professional attitude and supports the ABB goals and objectives
Provide leadership, direction, training and administration of anyone assigned to their department
Be responsible for the quality, production, safety, housekeeping and problem solving daily for your assigned areas. Also, be responsible for improving quality, safety, productivity and overall performance.
Must have high expectations for all employees and be consistent in all employee relation matters while not accepting poor performance in any area
Must work with all other departments, supervisors, and managers to solve problems and accomplish plant goals
Apply sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising, counseling and discipline direct reports
Must be flexible in work hours
Your background
High School Diploma / GED and minimum 5 years experience; OR Associate Degree and minimum 2 years experience; OR Bachelor's Degree and minimum 0 to 2 years experience
Experience reading and interpreting documents including specifications, drawings, work instructions, safety rules, procedures, manuals and MSDSs (Material safety data sheets)
Exceptional analytical, communication and leadership skills
Experience with ERP systems, SAP a plus
Experience with ownership of quality and detailed assembly processes/procedures including continuous improvement
Up to 5% domestic travel but limited
Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
Be comfortable speaking in front of large groups
Must be innovative with the ability to work with cross functional groups to implement continuous improvements
Must understand the importance of safety in the workplace and drive this through productive training and behaviors
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
