Responsibilities

Are you an experienced supervisor with the ability to provide hands on guidance in the manufacturing field? If so, you're what Masonite needs!

Masonite is changing the way we go to market each and every day. This position will have a very significant role in getting us there.

This position is a great opportunity to come in at the ground level and make a difference by utilizing Lean Operating System (4 Tier Lean Shop Floor Plan), working with other shift supervisors and plant managers to leverage best practices by moving the needle on measurable safety, quality, cost reduction, and productivity goals and objectives.

You will oversee plant activities, supervise the overall production and delegate work assignments to ensure all key performance indicators (KPIs) are identified, structured and addressed. Use production boards to keep employees enlightened and informed of the department performance against standards, working with them to reach their goals.

Qualifications

What you need:

High School diploma required

Associates degree or bachelor's degree preferred
2-3 years of manufacturing supervisory experience or 2- 3 years military supervisory experience paired with leadership skills that inspire others.

A high level of personal integrity (self-esteem, confidence, honesty, and respect) are necessary qualities for selection and success to jump into our existing infrastructure without skipping a beat.

Responsibilities Masonite's Stanley Interior Door Manufacturing facility currently has positions open on 1st (4:00 am- 2:00 pm) and 2nd shift (2:30 pm -1 am). Second shift positions include an additional shift premium. Open Positions Include: * Material Handler o Transport material to and from designated areas as assigned. Position will require appropriate certification to operate equipment. o Operate forklift to load and/or move materials o Supply production areas with needed materials from inventory o Perform safety checks on life truck * Support o Supports the manufacturing process through inspection and aid to machine operators o Coordinates and requests material transfers o Inspect doors and make minor repairs o Route doors through manufacturing * Machine Operator o Set up, adjust, and operate an individual machine, work cell, or a position within a work center. o Read process documentation to determine physical specifications and processing steps o Gather materials as needed for assembly of doors o Perform quality checks * Specialist o Perform a specialized job; may require specialized training o Peform quality checks and perform data collection, analysis and reporting as required o Communicate effectively for flow of doors through mill Apply for this job onlineRefer this job to a friend Share on your newsfeed Connect With Us!Qualifications Qualified candidates will: * Have a good work history and attendance record * Ability to life 50 lbs. on an occasional basis and ability to stand for 8-10 hours * Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen * Possess a High School Diploma/GED Masonite offers competitive pay, health care insurance options for medical, dental, and vision, life & accident insurance, disability, savings and investment options including 401K and flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement, and more.
