As a Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the safety, quality, productivity, and talent management for your assigned shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence. This position reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for managing a team of 10-20 employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promotes a culture where safety is number 1 by actively coaching employees on safety behaviors.
Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and audits to identify and address potential hazards.
Monitor and maintain product quality standards through regular inspections and process improvements.
Collaborate with the Quality department to address and resolve quality concerns promptly.
Analyzes daily production activities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Leverages ITW toolbox methodologies to optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce waste.
Lead, mentor, and coach production team members to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Continuously work on closing gaps identified in shift's skills matrix and help with developing employees.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between departments.
Foster a culture of open communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other supervisors to achieve overall production goals.
