Production Specialist/Cook Full Time 100% (Variable Shift) Adena Pike Medical Center

Under moderate supervision, this position prepares hot and/or cold food for all service locations. Practices Serv Safe guidelines in the handling and storage of food. May assume charge responsibilities in the absence or as assigned by the manager. May have access to patient information and/or hospital funds.

• Must be able to read and follow directions.

• Must have the ability to work independently.

• Capable of doing basic math skills adds and subtracts.

• Able to operate all food service equipment associated with their position.

• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrates the ability to learn and apply new skills in a work setting.

Minimum Qualifications (include):

• HS Diploma or GED
• Serv Safe certification by the end of the first year
• 6 months food service, experience preferred.

Position Type/Hours:

Full Time (100%) Variable Shift; Hours: will vary between 10:00 am

• 6:30 pm.

All shifts will require every other weekend and every other holiday hours.
