Description:Works in the Production, Planning and Control organization as a Production Scheduler. Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, contracts administration, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.
Works closely with Manufacturing functioning as a bridge between PP&C and Operations Management to control production priorities across multiple variants and customers. Regularly creates and proposes recovery schedules as needed to support the entire production line or specific work areas. Coordinates priority and progress requirements for all shifts to accomplish daily schedule goals to Operations Management.
Requires travel and/or communication to all production sites and vendor locations. Work outside of the normal operating hours may be required.
Liaison for Troy AUR areas to Program teams track, coordinate production scheduling & reporting
Coordinate with Make & Buy Planners, Operations and Program Leads for schedule changes & impacts due to such items as MRB, Rework, Work Arounds, Line Stoppage issues, Schedule Slips, etc.
Review shortage reports to identify potential constraints and impact to shop floor activity
Review and status capacity forecast and assist with Long Range Planning efforts
Early identification of shortages, increased ability for hands-on schedule maintenance and critical path management
Coordinate shop load sequencing and report current and near-term center loads and constraints & requirements to manufacturing management
Generate work around, recovery schedules, level load schedules as required for AUR activities as required to maintain alignment to IOP
Run and Co-Manage system reports (LOB, Block Status, Shortage, etc.) to ensure AUR shop floor activities are in line with the MPS

Troy is about 2.5 hours north of the Gulf of Mexico and Fort Walton Beach and Florida's Pan Handle. Troy is about three hours from Atlanta, GA.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Experience supporting MMAS (Material Management and Accounting System)
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
Understand the management of budgets. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of Management, industry peers, a represented workforce and internal and external customers.
Related experience in material handling, control systems and ERP systems.
Ability to assign projects to organizational unit by leading staff to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and time sensitive technical or operational issues.
Demonstrated ability to create, monitor and report on operations metrics.
Strategic thinker with lean manufacturing focus / (Greenbelt certified or in process).
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and must obtain at least an interim secret security clearance prior to start.
Black Belt trained / certified
APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
Control Account Manager (CAM) certified
Knowledge of industry wide best practices and processes for managing material flow throughout the entire Production supply chain.
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) extensive user experience or implementation
