Shelf Life of Products
Inventory Levels
Production times
Order Fulfillment times
Bill of Materials
10K SKUs
Working knowledge of SAP

Reviews MRP and ensures timely and accurate planning/scheduling of product to support the plan.
Develops and monitors detailed, achievable production schedules. Maintains accuracy of scheduling system from initial input of work order data through on-going maintenance, to completion and closure.
Proposes modification to planning guidelines as needed to provide for minimum inventory investment consistent with production objectives and constraints imposed by the manufacturing process.
Recommends process improvements to Planning process/system that are not in-line with the current requirements of OPS.
Participates fully in a multi-functional process improvement teams and represents Planning's interest in process These would include CI teams as well as System upgrade teams such as Everest.
Maintains accuracy of assigned data fields in material planning system

The ideal candidate: * Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives * Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality * Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts * Utilizes Gantt, PERT milestone charts, EVM and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas * Serves as program planning surge support for programs as needed Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree with 10 years of planning/scheduling experience Or Master's degree with 8 years of planning/scheduling experience * Possess intermediate to advanced skills in MS Project and the detail development of a resource loaded IMS * Ability and willingness to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance Preferred Qualifications: * Able to develop advanced concepts, techniques, and standards. Develop new applications based on professional principles and theories. * Demonstrates skill and ability to analyze and develop innovative solutions to complex problems. * Able to communicate effectively regarding scheduling issues at the highest levels. * Full understanding Earned Value Management (EVM) practices and be able to support implementation on programs * Understands International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) * Active, final Secret clearance in-scope (within 5 years) * Understanding of and experience with providing support to Integrated Product Teams (IPT) * Experience in Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) and DCMA Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs) * Understanding of and the ability to conduct Schedule Risk Assessments * Self-starter that is able to work well in a high-paced and dynamic environment * The ability to work effectively under pressure Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
