Job Description: and Responsibilities:
Candidate should have an ability to work independently to push production through ERP and coordinate the procurement and picking of material to feed the production and fulfillment staff.
Daily interaction with Staff Planner and Production Supervisor will require excellent communication skills both orally and written.
Initiates and drives Work Order and Material Coordination.
Supports Planner and Manufacturing Supervisor daily.
Off-site warehouse communication and direction.
Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle.
Works from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements.
Education and Work Experience:
Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics or related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning, coordinating, and scheduling production operations
Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment with the process flow of capital equipment manufacturing
Understanding of fabricated parts and the quality required to maximize lean manufacturing
Knowledge of MRP planning is required
Experience in prototype manufacturing preferred
Background in labor capacity planning is preferred
Previous experience in Oracle a bonus
