ONSITE ROLE IN LEWISBURG, TENNESSEE
Our Production team is expanding and looking to add a Production Planner. We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate who is interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector.
The Production Planner will be responsible for the comprehensive balance of production plans, making reasonable arrangements, saving various resources, reducing manufacturing costs, and improving production efficiency. Arranging and formulating project order numbers and required completion dates according to the requirements of production tasks or orders and according to the plan, and issued to various functional departments and production units. Other duties include:
Balance the production orders to ensure timely and simultaneous delivery
Effectively control the order of the production plant to ensure smooth logistics
Timely adjustment programs, control production anomalies to meet customer demand delivery
According to the order status, arrange outsourcing service or produce on the plant to meet customers' orders.
Improve the rationality of the production process, production schedule, and enhance the delivery of factory production.
Supervise the production system operation effectively, enhance the track of production delivery
Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products
Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand
Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations
Schedule shifts according to production needs
Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
Address issues when they arise, aiming for minimum disruption
Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives, etc.)
Prepare and submit status and performance reports
Keep paperwork organized
Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff
To qualify for this role you must meet the following:
Associate Degree or above; Further education or certification is preferred
Work experience in the planning department is preferred
Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning)
Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
Good at math and statistics
Familiar with WORD, EXCEL office software

Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English and Mandarin. Bilingual is preferred
