ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform activities to plan, schedule and coordinate production of all assemblies and finished goods using Master Production Scheduling techniques based on review and analysis of inventory positions, production schedules, sales-analysis forecasts, and safety stocks
Coordinate and expedite production with department managers; monitor production against schedules
Attend daily production meetings and communicate changes in schedules to all affected manufacturing staff including purchasing and tooling where appropriate
Coordinate with Customer Service regarding delivery promises, new customer orders, past due orders and customer inquiries
Revise/write shop orders as required to implement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs); communicate task completion to engineering
Adjust/write shop orders for production rejections in accordance with NMR disposition
Analyze machine capacity; standard run size, safety stock requirements and manufacturing/shipping part processing each month
Coordinate with Purchasing Agent to ensure on-time delivery of bulk parts to meet customer need
Schedule vendor processing, inspection, and packaging.
Manage MPS module of EMS including adding new parts and maintaining forecasts
Coordinate change-over dates on part transitions with shipping department
Schedule sample jobs (E-jobs) and monitor progress as appropriate
Schedule production of prototype parts for engineering and R&D work and monitor progress as appropriate
