JOB DESCRIPTION

Review sales orders and forecast data based on capacity availability and plan production / assembly work orders to meet customer due dates.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Review customer required dates with Customer Service and set promise dates.

Review open sales orders, verifying for released component product structures/routings and prints

Plan all production activities according to product assignment and available capacity

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Utilize the Shortage report and the manufacturing system to review all work orders for material availability and printing / releasing.

Authorize production and purchase of raw material, components and finished goods based on review of MRP.

Perform capacity planning, shop order release and out-processing. Set priorities for shop and other departments regarding orders.

Manage load vs. capacity so as to minimize overtime and maximize work center efficiency.

Follow-up and track product through supply chain to ensure needs are met and on time delivery is not affected.

Prepare detail updates and manage promise dates for Production meetings.

Coordinate scrap remakes with Manufacturing / Purchasing. Coordinate NCR's with Engineering.

Communicate all reschedules to Customer Service.

Work closely to implement best business practices for inventory management and replenishment, including inventory levels, standard order quantities, etc.

Communicate trends in resource demands, performance to schedule and special needs to the Materials Manager in a timely fashion.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

Microsoft Office

Strong analytical skills.

Working knowledge of any manufacturing environment.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Adaptable to change and responsible to direction.

Knowledge in MRP systems, planning and forecasting systems and inventory management techniques.
5 + years experience in the following: MRP systems, planning and forecasting systems, inventory management techniques.

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

Preferred:

JDE experience

Good computer skills.
2 years of College

APICS Certification or MRP Certification

JOB DESCRIPTION Inspects and test materials received and products manufactured for/by Weatherford Manufacturing (WM) according to drawings and specifications under the guidelines of the WM Quality System and/or customer specifications. Documents and maintains quality records per the WM Quality Procedures and/or customer specifications or other requirements established by WM Management. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs all tasks and skills of Inspector I. Inspection/acceptance/testing of parts received and/or manufactured under the requirements of the WeatherfordQuality system, special customer requirements, API Q-1, ISO 9001, etc. Maintain the quality control records. Insure the instruments and gauges being used are in good condition and calibration. Maintain professional relations with customers and Weatherford personnel. Plan inspection procedures for use in inspection routines. Assist production in the application of recognized industry quality principles. Perform miscellaneous product test from sales or engineering requirements. Assist in conducting required non-destructive examinations (Mag Particle, Die Pennetrant etc.) if necessary Conduct and report findings from product development testing/inspection as needed. Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level. Perform other duties as required by Supervisor within the physical constraints of the job. Understand and comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements and company policies of Weatherford. Know and understand Weatherford's Enterprise Excellence Process and the Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions. QUALIFICATIONS Competent understanding and ability to use precision measuring devices. Mechanically inclined. Good math skills. Excellent knowledge in reading standard blueprints. Proven experience in creating and maintaining quality control files. Working Knowledge of products being manufactured. Ability to maintain and calibrate measuring equipment as required. 1-3 years minimum experience with measuring and inspecting component parts. The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations. Preferred: Welding experience and/or weld inspection experience a plus.
