This position is located in our North Austin, TX office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create, modify and streamline materials ordering, storage and use to support production.

  • Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle to determine required material purchases.

  • Prepare for and communicate shutdowns, maintenance, schedule changes and supply problems.

  • Follows-up to confirm and/or modify delivery of purchased materials.

  • Set production and staff schedule and create metrics to evaluate materials and products.

  • Create and edit reports to inform strategic decisions.

  • Works with production and procurement to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.

  • Monitor engineering and production schedules to maintain inventory at planned levels.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education/Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED required.

  • 2-5 years of related Production Planner activities.

  • Knowledge of scheduling, planning documents and associated manufacturing procedures.

  • Knowledge of shop operations and procedures with emphasis on planning.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel, needed for this role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel, with the ability to read and design complex spreadsheets, and web based programs.

  • Proficient with ERP systems.

The Chief Operating Officer is responsible to the Hospital CEO. The COO functions at an executive level in an active leadership role with the hospital's governing body, medical staff leadership, hospital senior leadership and management team. Is directly responsible for managers overseeing departments and other service lines as assigned by the CEO. Is directly responsible for the improvement of the hospitals facilities in assigned areas, including construction or renovation of structures and the purchasing of new equipment. Responsible for department leaders in establishing a measure of performance, increase productivity, quality improvement, cost controls and efficient utilization of facilities.
