Producing/Processing shop floor orders through an ERP system along with schematics and bills of material, driving production by prioritizing and planning to meet ship dates.
Develop and maintain deep knowledge of product construction and assembly
Provide daily direction to the Assembly floor team
Lead weekly production meetings updating customer order status and/or production issues
Monitor/track production process metrics and acts to ensure they meet established standards.
Keep management proactively informed of manufacturing challenges and issues
Utilize MRP system to create the buying plan, regulate safety stocks, recommend expedites in order to meet demand while maintaining optimum inventory levels.
Follow up with purchasing as necessary, to resolve delivery problems or quality issues.
Work with purchasing to maintain inventory levels, pull in critical items, and prevent shortages.
Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through controls and monthly cycle counts.
Manage surplus and obsolete inventory.
Maintain a high standard of product quality in accordance with ISO and the company Quality Manual.
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Minimum 2 years planning experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, problem solving skills.
Strong computer literacy in MS Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ERP systems
Occasional crouching, kneeling, and reaching above shoulder
Occasional lifting of up to 45 lbs. or greater
