We're hiring an experienced Production Planner to help ensure efficient and timely production of products. As a valuable member of our Operations team, the production planner will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, regularly providing production status updates to management, and facilitating the timely delivery of products to customers. This position will report to Chief Operating Officer.
Main Responsibilities
Collaborate with other departments and the management team to develop master production schedule
Analyze current and future raw material levels and finish goods inventory levels to plan production schedule.
Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure a smooth flow of materials for production.
Promptly address and resolve production issues to minimize delays in production.
Assist in optimizing assembly operations for production priorities and ensure they are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Use ERP/MRP systems to track, analyze, and report on production-related data. Compile status and performance reports for management in a timely manner.
Other duties assigned by COO.
Qualifications
5+ years' related experience working as a production planner in the Manufacturing industry, including forecasting, planning, production scheduling and inventory management.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
Experienced in using MRP/ERP systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication skills. Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Hourly pay
$32-$37 USD
Actual pay offered to candidates will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant candidates' experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
