Your Role

As a part of the Atlas Copco team, production associates are responsible for producing high quality custom engineered products in a safe manner and provide translation service support as needed. Employees may work in different areas of production, including Cold-Heading, Heat Treat, Plating, Sorting and Collation.

This position is available on all 3 shifts, preference will be given to candidates working in the area where the translation support services are needed. Currently seeking support in Heat Treat/Plating area, Collation/Sorting area for Ukrainian, Arabic, and Persian language.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Always work in a safe manner.

• Train and become competent in sorting and packaging parts.

• Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to ensure machine efficiency.

• Ensure work area is prepped, clean and organized for next shift.

• Partner with team to ensure machines run to maximum efficiency and meeting all quality standards.

• Work closely with colleagues, with a strong emphasis on team work, minor maintenance, ensuring all quality requirements are met.

• Ensure daily history sheets, manufacturing packs and all other related paperwork are filled out correctly and ensuring all data is recorded.

• May be required to receive training and drive a fork truck.

• Manufacture cassettes as needed.

• Enter items into ERP system as necessary.

• Other related duties as assigned including translating documents and providing on the job tranlsation support to contractors and employees.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Understanding that Safety and Quality come first.

• Ability to measure parts. (Thickness gauging and coating weights)

• Basic computer skills

• Punctual

• Positive attitude

• Team player

• Must be able to read and speak English along with one other language including Ukranian, Spanish, Arabic or Persian.

EDUCATION OR QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or Equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (AS APPLICABLE):

• Grip, push and pull carts

• Ability to lift and position parts up to 50lbs periodically

• Standing up for duration of work shift
