Responsible for the dipping and stripping of the Penrose products.
Essential job Functions:
Makes adjustments to latex, acid and slurry tanks.
Slurries, strips, and dips product from formers, places product in leach baskets, loads leach baskets into the leach tank for all Penrose products
Operates Penrose dip machines.
Handles approximately 5 400 to 600 lb. drums per shift using proper drum moving equipment.
Lifts approximately 90 form racks daily weighing up to 35 lbs each. Must be able to place racks as high as 72".
Cleans metal product forms.
Must be able to crosstrain and run all operations in the Penrose 7823 department.
Keeps accurate records.
Must have ability to read and understand written instructions (BOPs, DHRs, and component tickets) and oven charts.
Must be able to take accurate measurements using a micrometer.
Must follow all GMP/BOP guidelines.
Maintain clean and organized work area as outlined in GMPs.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other Skills and Abilities: Must know how to take accurate measurements with a micrometer.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; reach with hands and arms; use hands or arms (to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls).
The employee is occasionally required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with the assistance of drum moving equipment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
The employee is not subjected to noise above OSHA levels without providing hearing protection, which will attenuate the noise to less than 85 db.
The Personal Protective Equipment required to perform this job safely includes safety glasses, gloves, and appropriate shoes.
