JOB REQUIREMENTS: Will be responsible for set up and operation of line to produce high quality product, which includes performing machine adjustments, quality testing, and reporting.
Read and comprehend instructions for each run.
Understand, monitor, and adjust line as needed to assure top-quality products.
Thoroughly inspect finished product for quality at a minimum of hourly.
Report any irregularities to Team Lead or Supervisor.
Follow written company procedures to set up and start up line.
Perform changeovers.
Check for proper material for correct usage.
Set up paperwork to achieve quantities ordered.
Perform light troubleshooting.
Maintain clear communication with Supervisor.
Clearly and effectively communicate machine conditions and other needed information to next shift personnel.
All other duties as assigned.
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Possess the ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with supervisor and co-workers.
Must have good organizational and reasoning skills, and show strong attention to detail and quality.
Must complete Operator Training and pass written test.

Job Overview * To assist in preparing the Rotogravure 10 color press for running jobs in a safe and controlled manner that will ensure the safety of others and the quality of products being made. 2. Principal Accountabilities * Setup Rotogravure press to meet production requirements * Prepare press for jobs by having trolleys, ink and coating ready to go into press * Clean and assemble doctor blades for the press * Observe press while its running to make sure inks are full, viscosity is accurate, coatings are mixed and substrates are webbed up in the press * Assist First Operator and help monitor color, register and repeat lengths according to customer specifications * Help distinguish quality colors while running job and setup * Help Troubleshoot web handling and printing problems * Follow procedures and process specifications * Load and unload cylinders * Help troubleshoot equipment and production issues * Follow all safety rules and procedures * Communicate effectively with other team members and departments * Assist in training other personnel Additional non-essential duties: * Provide daily and weekly maintenance * Operate fork trucks and hand jacks as needed * Keep general work area and equipment safe and clean including floors, emptying trash and cleaning up ink and coating spills 3.
