Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

VIEW JOBS 11/9/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-07T00:00 * Set-up, and operate one or more machines such as, but not limited to listed machines, to perform various operations: Saws Drill Threaders Pipe Benders (Manual & CNC) CNC Vernon Pipe & Shell Burner * Assist in planning, cutting and bending pipe to obtain optimum quality, production, efficiency. * Read and understand drawings or other reference material to verify standard tolerances and finishes. * Select, Measure and form pipe and tubing to required drawing specifications. * Use mathematics to calculate dimensions. * Label parts in accordance with drawing. * Plan assigned workload to most effectively use equipment. * Program special cuts for applications which are not on DNC. * Use hand power or machine tools to dress finished parts. * Hand punch layout lines as indicated by equipment. * Detect unusual conditions or material defects and report to proper supervision. * Perform necessary material handling associated with job. * Maintain necessary time quality, quantity and other records. * Maintain clean and safe work area and equipment as required. Perform housekeeping & maintain 5S standards. * Perform operator preventative maintenance. * May be called upon to participate within special work teams performing various team related duties. * Follow all safety policies, procedures and JHRA's. #external High School Diploma or GED required.
