Production Mixing Technician

Job Information

We are seeking experienced Production Mixing Technicians to join our recently expanded food production facility. Production Mixing Technicians are responsible for performing manufacturing duties, machine operation and production work to manufacture food products and other specialty products according to established production, quality control & safety procedures and specifications.

This is a full-time, benefits eligible position and we have the following 3 shifts available

5:00 a.m.

• 1:30 p.m. (Monday

• Friday)

1:00 p.m.

• 9:30 p.m. (Monday

• Friday)

9:00 p.m.- 5:30 a.m. (Sunday

• Thursday)

Essential Responsibilities

• Correctly & accurately assemble ingredients & record on production paperwork

• Follow blend sheets to ensure accurate product

• Mixing & Blending of ingredients to ensure consistent final product that matches customer specifications

• Operate all production equipment, including Kettles, Pumps, Dye Mixers and Mills

• Complete production paperwork accurately and timely

• Understand & Follow all sanitization processes

• Consistently practice food safety, sanitization and work safety policies & procedures

• Maintain GMP "general housekeeping" practices to ensure a workplace that is clean & safe

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED

• 2+ years of relevant mixing/blending experience in a production environment

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment, highly desired

• Basic mathematical skills

• Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide in units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

• Ability to operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts

• QualiTech will provide necessary training

• Ability to carry, lift and move 50 pounds frequently throughout shift

• Must be able to read, interpret and perform tasks and projects derived from written and spoken English instruction.
