Summary:

The Production and Marketing Support Specialist is responsible for the oversight of print production and ordering processes for corporate marketing communication materials. The role is a blend of production, project management, resource development, file management, and marketing/communications support. This position is integral to brand management and will work within and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Demonstrates excellent customer service performance in their attitude and actions are consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission, and Values of Covenant and the commitment to extraordinary care for every generation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees and is responsible for the continuing development and maintenance of the Corporate Online Print Ordering storefront in conjunction with vendors and internal stakeholders. The platform supports a self-service model that streamlines production processes and provides efficient solutions for obtaining marketing collateral for Covenant HealthCare.

• Works closely with teammates and clients as needed in support of marketing and communications efforts. This includes but is not limited to items for print or interactive advertisements, displays, brochures, manuals and booklets, web pages, social, digital, presentations, graphs, photographs, flowcharts, signs, and other collateral.

• Supports corporate relationships with print vendors alongside graphic designer, maintaining knowledge of vendor capabilities to facilitate appropriate vender selection. Obtaining competitive print bids, working with printers in awarding print jobs, reviewing print proofs, and providing printers with print-ready publication files are all part of the process.

• Learns and becomes a strong utilizer of the Planning & Business Development project management software.

• Supports adherence to corporate brand standards across the organization.

• Supports maintenance and retention of branding files, images, and project archives.

• Oversees the development and production of marketing and informational collateral for select service lines and physician offices with departmental leads.

• Ability to confidently operate and maintain technology such as computers (Mac and PC), scanners, printers, and related software.

• Manages and meets all associated deadlines.

• In conjunction with the marketing communications team, maintains project records. Projects may require tracking expenses, obtaining production quotes, preparing materials for print and archiving projects.

• Serves on internal committees as needed to bring production insights and support the maintenance of the corporate identity.

• Participates in professional activities and maintains professional affiliations to keep abreast of trends/changes in the field; researching and recommending latest technology as needed.

• Supports marketing and communications efforts as needed for web, social, digital, and events. This may include support for departmental priorities and initiatives.

• Audits vendor invoices for accuracy and adherence to specifications.

• Maintains a solid understanding of HIPAA guidelines and ensures processes comply with those requirements.

• Serves as an active member of the Covenant marketing and communications team.

Other information:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS - High School diploma required. College degree helpful.

• Five (5) years experience in marketing, print processes/production, graphic design, corporate branding, communications, and/or project management experience preferred. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES - Excellent at creating and maintaining organizational processes.

• Strong knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite.

• Proficient and comfortable utilizing both MAC and PC.

• Familiarity with marketing, print processes/production, graphic design, corporate branding, communications, and/or project management experience.

• Must understand basic budgeting concepts.

• Demonstrates accountability, ability to work under minimal supervision and make independent decisions.

• Requires excellent interpersonal verbal communication skills and strong written communication skills. The ability to write and edit content is a plus.

• Motivated and detail oriented.

• Ability to exercise sound judgement and handle confidential and sensitive issues and information.

• Ability to manage projects within budgets and deadlines.

• Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks at once and prioritize effectively.

• Knowledge of healthcare is helpful, but not required.
