Production Manager

Volt is immediately hiring a Production Manager to support a key client, located in Theodore Alabama

This role will oversee the daily production and delivery of our world-class products manufactured in our Theodore, AL facilities. Must have heavy fabrication manufacturing experience.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

• Provide daily direction to supervisor team and work together to remove obstacles creating production delays.

• Partner with other departments and shifts to coordinate raw materials, parts, assemblies and completed units, etc.

• Work with engineering teams on critical component reliability and related product specifications to achieve strategic goals.

• Work closely with production scheduler to reduce production delays.

• Promote safe work environment and champion safety practices and behaviors.

• Partner with human resources to determine appropriate staffing levels, address performance issues, onboarding of new employees, etc.

• Identify opportunities to improve workflow and processes on production floor.

Your Education Should Be…

High school diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree, a plus.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

• This position will require the ability to move around the production floor and investigate issues with the production equipment.

• Lift up to 15 pounds

• Sitting, standing, stooping, bending, other related tasks in an office setting.

Salary - $100,000
