About the Role:

Help us advance our robotics moonshot by leading and taking ownership of Nimble's manufacturing efforts.

You will play a critical role in working with our world-class cross-functional team to architect and build the world's most advanced robotic systems for the world's biggest robotics opportunity!

Responsibilities

• Own delivering functional robots.

• Manage assembly technicians

• Hire and interview Technicians

• Design and develop mechanical assembly fixturing

• Design manufacturing line layout

• Oversee Maintenance in Dallas warehouse

• Design custom hardware, mechanisms, and structures

• Convert prototype designs into production parts designed with DFM and DFA

• Create documentation on manufacturing and assembly processes

• Develop scalable manufacturing pipeline

• Provide input on all aspects of product development from brainstorming to final delivery.

• Welcome new challenges and work independently across disciplines to both investigate issues and identify solutions.

Qualifications

• Fast learner, A-player, great work ethic and ambitious
• BS/MS/Ph.D. in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience
• DFM/DFA
• Solidworks, CAD
• GD&T
• Manufacturing drawings, BoMs, PDM, etc.
