Quad is currently seeking Production Machine Mechanics at our Fairfield, PA location

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have two years of solid work history in a manufacturing environment, within the past three years.

  • The ability to bend and lift 10-15 pounds continuously, ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally, stand long hours, use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement, receive and follow instructions and use vision in order to identify defects, performing repetitious tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere with or without a reasonable accommodation is necessary.

  • Ability to work 12 hour rotating shifts (either 7 a.m.

  • 7 p.m. or 7 p.m.

  • 7 a.m.) including days, nights, evenings and weekends is required.

  • Mechanical aptitude and excellent communication skills, including good verbal and written comprehension is required.

  • The ability to perform basic math calculations is essential.

  • Must be able to read a ruler

  • Prior Finishing Operator experience and proven familiarity of Finishing equipment is preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for the integration of CNI Core Competencies into daily functions, including: commitment to integrity, knowledge/quality of work, supporting financial goals of the company, initiative/motivation, cooperation/relationships, problem analysis/discretion, accomplishing goals through organization, positive oral/written communication skills, leadership abilities, commitment to Affirmative Action, reliability/dependability, flexibility and ownership/accountability of actions taken. Supports all aspects of dining facility operations, and works shifts as assigned. Completes any required job-related training; and ensures compliance with applicable Army regulations and instructions. Performs food service line tasks. Serves prepared foods, and maintains proper portion control. Performs cash register duties. Totals customer bill, receives payment, and makes change. Performs all cleaning duties, as required and directed (i.e., dishwashing, pot washing, floor and carpet cleaning, etc.). Helps to ensure food service areas, work areas and equipment are sanitized and maintained according to standard procedures. Ensures government furnished equipment items are fully functional. Ensures specified levels of sanitation are maintained. Performs various other duties, as assigned or instructed by supervisor. Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output. Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company. Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred and a minimum of three months relevant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education / training / experience.
